ToC at "Espacio Bertelsmann"

Touch of Classic attended the opening event of “Espacio Bertelsmann” in Madrid, Spain. This unique place dedicated to culture aims to become a meeting point for different areas of social life and will involve actors from the world of politics, economy, business, thought, science, arts and letters.
The event brought together members of the Spanish Government, the Local Authorities of the City of Madrid and the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports as well as distinguished figures from the cultural world such as Jose Manuel Lara, president of Grupo Planeta, who took the opportunity to address the issue of intellectual property.
The chairman of Bertelsmann in Spain confirmed his commitment with the Spanish market. His association with Grupo Planeta is reflected, for example, in Nubico, a project consisting in a reading platform which works through streaming. Many things have been said about the German giant, from the denied by the Grupo Prisa purchase of Alfaguara, Suma , Taurus and Aguilar, to the possible purchase of Santillana .
What is certain is that the expansion of Bertelsmann is impressive (e.g. late summer bought 53% of the British publisher Penguin (owned by Pearson Group).
Touch of Classic had the opportunity to present our collection of interactive books based on the classics and educational apps for kids to a lot of publishers and cultural players.
